Packaging Improvements/Changes

BiAloe(R) available through this site is now packaged as follows:

  1. Humidity in the packaging lab is reduced to less than 30% (less than 20% is the target, when practical).
  2. The quantity ordered is slightly over-filled into a 4″ x 4″ re-closeable polyethylene (LDPE), FDA food storage compliant zipper bag. Excess air is forced out by rolling the package before sealing. (*)
  3. The sealed bag is placed in an oversized(*) 8 oz. PET plastic jar with a large descant packet . A self-sealing lid is tightly screwed onto the jar.
  4. The jar is labeled, including the date packaged and product expiration date (2 years from manufacture).
  5. The jar is wrapped with heat-shrink plastic. The plastic is shrunk tightly to the jar with a heat gun quickly so that the jar contents are never overheated.
  6. Because a small hole has to be in the plastic to allow the air inside to escape, a second layer of shrink wrap is added over the first layer to increase it’s enclosure.

Note that the vacuumable Ziploc bag that the jars were previously placed in are no longer part of packaging. This was deemed unnecessary when the small zipper bag was added to the process.(*)

Clarification of member discount and special sales:

  1. Member discount is a flat 10%. The discount is automatically applied by the shopping cart as you place your order.
  2. Due to the current awareness of the importance of a strong immune system plus the packaging improvements, there is no longer a need to incentivize group ordering. All other special discount opportunities have been discontinued.
